    This class is designed for adults and will teach you to match your breath with movement to create some heat in the body for better digestion. It will also help create strength for the muscles, flexibility for the joints and balance for the mind and body. Class will run for 6 weeks offering 12 one hour sessions and will meet in the meeting room at the Perry Park Center.

  7. Chair Yoga

    Chair yoga can benefit anyone, regardless of age, inflexibility or even disability. For those who can’t get on the floor to do a traditional mat yoga class, chair yoga offers wonderful health benefits such as: increased flexibility, improved bone density, improved balance, relaxation, relief from arthritis and better breathing. Chair yoga is practiced while sitting in the chair instead of on the floor. The chair is also used for support while practicing standing poses to support the body in balance. There is no age limit for this class and all physical abilities are welcome! Please bring a yoga mat, all other props are provided.

    Are you ready to REALLY sweat? Group kickboxing classes are a great way to get an intense total body workout while maintaining a high, calorie-burning heart rate for a long period of time. Kickboxing strengthens arms, core and legs, while providing a fast-paced cardio workout. Performing the exercise in a group helps you develop the form and style that will most effectively tone your muscles. Kickboxing keeps you moving at an intensity that you most likely would not be able to replicate while doing cardio exercise on your own, so take advantage of the group energy of the workout to get the most out of this form of exercise.

This class is designed for all fitness levels, and provides the perfect atmosphere for letting loose, getting energized, toning up and rockin’ out! The workout is easily modifiable for all men and women of all ages and abilities.

    Come join our workout class with Christina McDonald! This class will take the "work" out of workout, by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party. Once the Latin and World rhythms take over, you'll see why Zumba Fitness classes are often called exercise in disguise. ALL physical abilities are welcome!
