    Fall is just around the corner! It's time to start cleaning out your closets. Do you have new or used unwanted items in your house? Are you tired of the clutter and dust from these unwanted items? We have the solution for you! The Perry Park Center is having a Garage Sale on Saturday, September 27. The event will be from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Booth spaces are available now. Each space is 10' by 20' and will include one 8ft table with two chairs. Vendors will receive a certificate for the space. There are only 42 booths available!! Booth registrations is open until Friday, September 19. For more information about the Garage Sale, please contact Emily Steele at (573) 547-PARK.

  1. Aqua Aerobics for Arthritis

    September 15, 8:30 AM - 9:30 AM @ Aquatic Center

    This class is for those with arthritis or range if movement problems. Range of motion is the goal for this class along with some suspended cardiovascular exercise, resistance training and stretching.

  2. Hydro-Fit

    September 15, 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM @ Aquatic Pool Center

    This is a low impact exercise class that strengthens muscles and joints and provides a great cardiovascular workout.

  3. Start Smart Soccer

    September 15, 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM @ Class will meet at T-Ball fields #6 & #7 located by Pavilion #20

    Start Smart Soccer is a developmentally appropriate introductory soccer program for 3—6 years old. The program prepares children and their parents for organized soccer without the threat of competition or the fear of getting hurt.

  4. Waterbabies Class

    September 15, 6:00 PM - 6:30 PM @ Aquatic Center

    This class helps young children (ages 6 - 36 months) become comfortable in and around the water so they are ready to learn to swim. It is not designed to teach children to become good swimmers or even to survive in the water on their own. Parent or legal guardian must be in the water with the child at all times.

    A class for those who want a cardio workout. Thirty minutes of cardiovascular exercise, 10 minutes suspended abs, 10 minutes resistance and 10 minutes of stretching.

    September 16, 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM @ Perry Park Center - Meeting Room

    Parents, are you wanting to exercise and work out at the Perry Park Center but do not have a babysitter? Then have your kids join the Perry Park Center staff for our child care nights! This is a time just for the kids while mom and dad workout in the facility. The kids will be supervised in the meeting room and get to play games, watch movies and much more!

    A.C.T. is an intense workout that is easy on joints and muscles. Tempo and fitness level will change every three weeks to keep the body from reaching a plateau.

    The first games will begin on Wednesday, October 1 and will meet for a minimum of 8 regular season games for each team. All games will be played on Wednesday, Thursday or Sunday nights and there will be a single-elimination tournament at the end of the season. League Champions will receive t-shirts.

    Home School P.E. is a planned instructional program that provides 5 to 14 year old children standards-based physical education lessons that focus on health-related physical fitness, skill development, safety and positive social interactions. The program helps homeschooling families make physical education an essential part of the total curriculum, ensuring that enjoyment in physical activity continues as a natural part of children's everyday lives.

  17. Pickleball Tournament

    September 20, 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM @ Perry Park Center

    The tournament will host a maximum of sixteen teams. Teams of two can be any combination of players. Games will be self-officiated and the tournament will be a double elimination format, guaranteeing each team will play at least two games each. Teams will be notified of their start time prior to the tournament date.
