  3. Moonlight Madness

    The Perryville Area Chamber of Commerce has scheduled their yearly, Moonlight Madness for Thursday, October 27th. Area businesses will be set up to host trick-or-treaters from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. at the Perry Park Center Parking lot. Employees from various businesses in Perry County will be on hand to give out candy from the trunks of their decorated vehicles to all the children in costumes. Last year, the event drew more than 400 kids and their families. There will be prizes for the best costumes, best decorate pumpkin and a pet costume contest. More information and details will be released soon. In the case of rain, the event will still be held but at an inside the Perry Park Center.

  5. Arts & Craft Show

    The Perryville Parks and Recreation Department is holding The Bank of Missouri Arts & Craft Show on Saturday, October. 29, 2016. The event takes place at the Perry Park Center. Our vendors are busy making a wide variety of handmade items including: fudge, knitted clothing, jewelry, ornaments, embroidery, pottery, metalwork, drawings & paintings, and much more! Booth spaces are still available but limited. Contact Jennifer Freeman today to reserve your space. The Craft Show is free to everyone. Doors will open at 8:00 a.m. and close at 4:00 p.m. The Perry Park Center is also having a FREE Family Day on October 29 as well. No daily admission required. Adults and children will have access to the fitness center, walking track, racquetball courts and pool area.

    Chair yoga can benefit anyone, regardless of age, inflexibility or even disability. For those who can’t get on the floor to do a traditional mat yoga class, chair yoga offers wonderful health benefits such as: increased flexibility, improved bone density, improved balance, relaxation, relief from arthritis and better breathing. Chair yoga is practiced while sitting in the chair instead of on the floor. The chair is also used for support while practicing standing poses to support the body in balance. There is no age limit for this class and all physical abilities are welcome! Please bring a yoga mat, all other props are provided.
