LIQUOR LICENSE

 

In order to sell alcoholic beverages, a city and state liquor license must be obtained.  (Click here to download Liquor License application in PDF Format.)

  • Pick up an application from the City Collector's office or download one from this site.

  • Submit a "Request for Criminal Record Check" with the Missouri State Highway Patrol - Findings must be submitted to the Collector's office before your liquor license application will be reviewed for approval.

  • The application will be submitted to the Board of Aldermen for approval at a City Council meeting (meetings are held on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of every month).

  • Once your application has been approved, you will be issued a liquor license from the City of Perryville.

  • You will need to show proof of a city liquor license to the state to receive a state license.

Qualifications of Liquor License Applicant:

 

·         Must be 21 years of age;

·         Good moral character;

·         Previous liquor licenses must not be revoked; and

·        Not convicted of a violation of law applicable to manufacturing or

      sale of liquor.

 

The following are types of liquor licenses issued:

 

·         Retail Liquor by the Drink (RBD) - $300 

·         5% Beer by Drink-Wine (5BDW) - $52.50

·         Sunday by Drink (SBD) - $150

·         5% Sunday By Drink (5SBD) - $150

·         Sunday Original Package (SOP) - $150

·         5% Beer by Drink (No Sunday) (5BD) - $52.50

·         Original Package Liquor (OPL) - $150

·         Original Package 5% Beer (No Sunday) (5OP) – $22.50

·         Original Package Tasting (OPT) - $25

·         Consumption of Intoxicating Liquor (COL)- $60

·         Retail Liquor by Drink – Exempt (RBDE) - $300

·         Retail Liquor by Drink – Picnic (RBDP) - # of days: ______ ($10)

·         Retail Liquor by Drink – Caterers (RBDC) - # of days: ______ ($10 per day)

·         Other License as described in Code of Ordinances
