ANNUAL APPLICATION FOR REGISTRATION

FOR DEALERS IN MOTOR VEHICLES

All dealers in motor vehicles shall, instead of registering each motor vehicle dealt in, make an annual application.  (Click here to download Annual Application for Registration for Dealers in Motor Vehicles application in PDF Format.) for registration to the City Collector for a distinctive number for all motor vehicles owned or controlled by such dealer. Such application shall contain:

·         A brief description of each type of motor vehicle dealt in;

·         The name and business address of the dealer; and

·        The dealer number assigned to the dealer by the department of revenue

      of the State of Missouri.

Upon payment of an annual registration fee of $5.00, the dealer shall be assigned two registration tabs each bearing a separate number.  Dealer may obtain more registration tabs upon the annual fee of $2.50 per tab.
