The Perryville Police Department is a service-oriented organization. It is our goal to provide the best protection and service for the safety and welfare of our citizens. The Police Department is compromised of several divisions, each with specific goals and responsibilities.
- Animal Control – we rescue lost, abandoned and stray animals within the City limits.
- Communications – this division is responsible for all the communication tasks such as dispatching police officers, ambulances, fire department and the on-call public works personnel.
- Investigations – consists of three detectives. They are responsible for responding to and processing crime scenes as well as conducting investigations and interviews.
- Patrol – is the largest division with 12 uniformed officers. They are responsible for the daily patrol of the City and responding to initial calls for service.
