The City Clerk is appointed by the Mayor and Board of Aldermen and provides a number of services including:
  • Certifying and distributing ordinances, resolutions and codes
  • Serves as election authority for City elections
  • Keeper of contracts, agreements and other legislative actions
  • Post legal notices
  • Supplies an agenda packet of supporting documents for each council meeting
  • Supervises a number of departments
