Bulk trash pickups occur on Mondays. Please call (573) 547-2594 no later than 7:00 am on Monday to schedule a pickup for that same day. A small fee is applied for bulk trash pickup and it can be paid at City Hall, Monday - Friday from 7:30 am - 5:00 pm. Once paid, you will receive a sticker to place on the item:
Computer Monitors: $10
Refrigerator: $10 (Freon must be removed & door must be duct taped shut)
Large Piles: $150
Household trash is to be placed at the curb no earlier than 5:00 pm the day preceding collection and containers removed the same day of collection. All items must be at curbside by no later than 7:00 am on the day of scheduled pickup.
The following items are not accepted by the Refuse Department at the curbside, but may be delivered to the Recycling Center for recycling:
Used motor oil
Used diesel fuel
Electronic waste (E-Waste) is considered anything that runs on batteries or can be plugged into an electric outlet. E-Waste cannot be put in with your regular trash. It can be dropped off at the Perry County Recycling Center (flyer).
The Public Works Department offers a free grease drop off receptacle at their facility (304 South Kingshighway) and is available 24/7.
