Auto Pay

The City of Perryville invites you to select an easy way to pay your monthly utility bill with
our Auto Pay service. Your participating bank, savings and loan, or credit union can pay your utility
bill by deducting the amount due automatically from your financial account. Save on writing
checks, stamps, and envelopes.

What happens when I sign up for Auto Pay?

You will authorize your financial institution to automatically deduct the amount due each month for
your utility bill. You will continue to receive a bill; however, it will read: Account Drafted Do Not Pay. To sign up for Auto Pay, complete the authorization form and bring it to the Utility Billing Office at City Hall.

When will the Financial Institution deduct the amount from my account?

Deductions will be made on the 10th of the month, giving you enough time to review the bill and, if
necessary, call the City of Perryville.

What happens if there is a problem with the bill?

If you have a question or problem with the bill, you may stop the automatic payment for that
month’s bill by contacting the utility office at 573-547-2594 at least five (5) days before the payment date.

May I stop this service at any time?

You may discontinue your Auto Pay service by submitting a discontinue form to the City of Perryville Utility Office six (6) working days before you want the service to end.

What happens if there are insufficient funds in my account?

The returned payment will be subject to returned payment charges. If three (3) payments are returned
during any 12-month period, your Auto Pay will be terminated.

When will the service begin?

When Auto Pay is implemented your bill will read: "Your account will be drafted on MM/DD/YYYY".  Please continue to pay your bill normally until that time.
