Building Inspector / Zoning Administrator

The Building Inspector / Zoning Administrator reviews construction plans for all residential and commercial development, including additions and renovations. Field inspections ensure compliance with City building codes and zoning ordinances throughout the construction process.

The City of Perryville follows and enforces the requirements of the 2015 International Building Code and the 2014 National Electrical Code.

Inspections may be made during normal office hours by calling City Hall at (573) 547-2594.  Inspections are required prior to the issuance of a certificate of occupancy, which is needed before a building can be occupied.
