Ward No. 1 shall include all of the territory bound on the west by a line beginning at the intersection of South Main Street and the city limits, thence north along the centerline of Main Street to Kingshighway, north along the centerline of Kingshighway to Perryville Boulevard, south along the centerline of Perryville Boulevard to Old St. Mary's Road, north along the centerline of Old St. Mary's Road to Kingshighway,  thence  continue  north  on  the  centerline  of Kingshighway to the city limits, and bound on the north, east and south by the city limits.  Ward No. 1 shall further include all of the territory bound on the south by Sandler Drive, on the east by Kingshighway, and on the west and north by the city limits.
